A Tribute to My Father-in-law Andrew Floyd Jones

Yesterday my father-in-law passed away. I've written a poem in his honor.

My Father-in-law

My father-in-law accepted
me as I am...
no questions asked
he didn't care about my past

He welcomed me with
an open heart and mind
to me he was very kind

My father-in-law
will be missed...
he was gentle and kind
his character defined

Good-bye dear loved one
you sailed to the heavens above...
at peace you now are
among the shining stars

Written in memory of my father-in-law Andrew Floyd Jones September 8th 1931- May 26th 2011

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. By the time I got married, my would be father(and mother) in law had already passed. I never got to know them. May the memories you shared bring peace and love to your heart
